Biography
Wendy Colleen Phipps was born in St. Kitts on November 24, 1967. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities/Journalism from the University of the Virgin Islands (1991) and a Master of Mass Communication from the University of Georgia (1992).
Political Career
Following the February 2015 General Election, Phipps was appointed Senator and Minister of State with responsibility for Health, Community Development, Gender Affairs and Social Services.
Career Outside Politics
She is the sole proprietor of Trinity Business Services/The Main Event, a business consulting firm she founded in 2010, and previously served as Executive Director of the St. Kitts-Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce (1994–2010).
