Biography
Eugene Hamilton, CLU, FLMI, ACS, AIAA, AIRC, was born in Water Works, Cayon on September 7, 1953, and pursued extensive professional insurance education in the United States, India and Malaysia.
Political Career
Hamilton serves as Minister of Agriculture, Health, National Health Insurance, Human Settlement, Community Development, Gender Affairs, Social Services, Cooperatives and Lands, having entered Parliament after the 2010 general elections.
Career Outside Politics
He held senior roles at British American Insurance Company and the National Caribbean Insurance Company, and designed a comprehensive Health Insurance programme covering all public servants in St. Kitts and Nevis.
